The house is in the Gers (Gascogne) France, in a little village near Simorre , Lombez, Samatan and l' Isle en Dodon. At about 31 miles you will find the towns of Toulouse and Auch.

The house is situated on a hill, with fields all around. The first neighbour is 1/2 mile away. The place is very quiet with a very nice view.

It's an ancient half-timbered house, brick wall and ceiling with beams showing, big fireplace, floor with old tiles. Well renovated and very cosy.

Fully equipped kitchen : oven, gas cooker, electric fryer, washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, kitchen ustensils.

Living room looks out onto the swimming pool and the covered terrace.

First floor

8 bedrooms : 6 double rooms, 2 four-bedded rooms, all the bedrooms with a mosquito net.

3 bathrooms with shower, bath and double wash-hand basin, two toilets.

Household, sheets, pillowcases,dishcloths...are not provided. Blankets are on hand.

The house is equiped with central heating and can therefore be rented all year round.

Garden

Plenty of open space and gardens, rosebushes and so on.
A large swimming pool is at your disposal 590X275 inches (16.4X7.6 yards).
Maximum depth 70.8 inches (1.9 yards). A ladder and steps.

Auch : the county town of the Gers and of the Gascogne, this town has a population of about 25 000 inhabitants. D'Artagnan, one of the famous musketeers, was born there. His statue stands there above an imposing stairway.
Samatan : little town which is renowned for it's market of foie gras.
Lombez : the cathedral and museum.
Simorre : the church with her medievals towers.
Toulouse : pink town so called because of the color of the bricks, numerous bridges on the Garonne and the famous place of the Capitole.

Holidays resort of Samatan, possibility to go horse-riding, tennis-courts, petanque, you will find nearby lakes (fishing, sailboard, canoe), a beach with slide, rental bikes to miniature golf and many beautiful walks around the villages and the country.
